What makes the 991.2 Turbo S special

The 991.2 Turbo S is the generation that arguably perfected the Turbo formula. Its 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six produces 427kW and 700Nm, fired through a lightning-fast PDK gearbox and Porsche's all-wheel-drive traction, for a 0–100 km/h time of just 2.9 seconds. It was built to be the fastest 911 of its time, yet it does it all with a civility that lets you drive it every single day. That blend of supercar pace and genuine usability is exactly what made it a landmark car.

The collaboration with Canberra Leather

This Turbo S came in primarily for leather repairs handled by the team at Canberra Leather, with a touch of refinement from us. We're big believers in staying in our lane and working alongside specialists who are the best at what they do. Trim and upholstery restoration is its own craft — letting Canberra Leather handle the hides while we focused on the paint and protection meant the owner got the best of both worlds on the one visit.

What a "refinement detail" means

Not every car needs a full multi-stage correction or a respray. A refinement detail is about elevating an already-good car: removing light defects, restoring gloss and clarity, and adding protection — without the aggressive cutting a heavily damaged finish would require.

It's the right level of work for a well-kept performance car — meaningful improvement, with the paint's longevity respected.

Why daily-driven supercars need more attention

A garage queen that barely turns a wheel lives an easy life. A Turbo S that actually gets driven — commuted, parked in the open, washed regularly — collects swirls, contamination and wear far faster. Daily-driven performance cars often need more care than the ones tucked away under covers, because they're genuinely being used the way Porsche intended. That's a good thing; it just means protection earns its keep.

The balance of performance and preservation

The whole point of a 911 Turbo S is that you can have it both ways: blistering performance and a car you're proud to look at. Our job is to support that — keeping a hard-driven supercar looking its best without ever standing in the way of it being enjoyed.

The takeaway: matching the work to the car matters. A refinement detail gives a well-kept performance car exactly what it needs — no more, no less — and keeps it that way.
