Our focus is on doing the work properly — correct preparation, appropriate products for each situation, and taking the time required to achieve a proper result.
We do not rush. We do not cut corners. If something needs more attention than expected, we discuss it before proceeding. No surprises on the invoice.

Sam
Founder
Sam started Top Down Detailing and has spent every day since trying to keep up with the team he hired. Officially the founder. Unofficially the bloke who answers the phones, quotes the jobs, and gets told he's doing it wrong by Harrington. Compliments about your car go to the boys. Complaints go straight to Sam.
Harrington
Chief Studio Officer
Harrington will tell you exactly what's wrong with your car, whether you asked or not. He'd dare you to do the same with his work, but you'd be standing there a while trying to find something. Years in the chemical game mean he knows every product, ratio and mix by heart, and has opinions on all of them. Don't let the resting serious face fool you. Mention cars, or worse his Statesman, and you've got him for the afternoon.
Manny
Dismantling & Mechanical
The scariest looking bloke in the shop and comfortably the friendliest. A qualified mechanic with years in the trade, Manny handles all our dismantling. If it comes apart, he takes it apart, and it goes back together exactly as it should. Physically incapable of saying no, which is why he's always the busiest man here.
Roman
Polishing & Coating Specialist
Roman treats every panel like it's headed for a museum. He takes his time, long enough you'd swear he's on an hourly rate, but that finish is exactly why people cross town to get here. Fair warning to Porsche owners: he may struggle to give it back.
Tom
Paint & Touch-Up Specialist
A fully qualified painter and the master of the impossible touch-up. If it can be taped, blended or sprayed, Tom makes it disappear. He doesn't know how to work fewer than eight days a week, and we've given up trying to teach him. Perfectionist doesn't quite cover it.
