Top Down Detailing operates from a dedicated detail studio in Fyshwick, ACT — a purpose-built space equipped for professional paint correction, ceramic coating application and PPF installation. Controlled lighting, dust management and a fully stocked product bay mean every service is performed to the same high standard regardless of what's booked in.
We're not a multi-bay wash facility trying to push volume. We run a deliberate schedule — one or two vehicles at a time — so every car gets full attention, proper time and a result that's actually inspected before it leaves.
Harri works with us full-time in the studio, and between us we bring a genuine obsession with paint quality to every job. If you've ever picked up your car from a detail and noticed the swirls are still there — you'll understand why that matters to us.

We only recommend what your car actually needs. If your paint is in good condition, we'll tell you. We'd rather earn your repeat business than oversell you once.
Paint correction, ceramic coatings and PPF take time when done properly. We never rush a job. Every booking gets the full time it requires — no shortcuts because the next car is waiting.
We explain what we're doing and why. You'll leave understanding your car's protection better than when you arrived — without being blinded by technical terms.

Every PPF job uses computer-cut patterns via DAP software. Hand-cutting on the car risks blade damage to paint — we don't do it.

Paint correction removes defects. Wax hides them temporarily. We are explicit about which is which and never misrepresent the result.
✕ We don't rush jobs to fit more in
If your paint correction is booked for two days, it gets two full days. We'd rather turn down a booking than compress a job.
✕ We don't coat over uncorrected paint
Ceramic coating encapsulates the surface it's applied to. If that surface has swirls and scratches, we will tell you — and quote correction first.
✕ We don't use or recommend automatic car washes
We'll tell you why at handover, every time. It's the single biggest cause of paint damage on Australian cars.
✕ We don't use products we don't believe in
If a cheaper alternative exists but the quality isn't there, we don't use it. Full stop.
