IGL Coatings typically last 3–7 years depending on the product tier and your maintenance routine. Annual maintenance extends the lifespan and preserves your warranty.
Ceramic coating seals in the current condition of your paint. Any defects present during application stay visible underneath, permanently — so we always inspect first.
Brush-type automatic washes cause swirl marks — on coated or uncoated paint. Hand washing with proper technique is what we recommend.
All IGL ceramic coating work includes a manufacturer warranty from IGL Coatings, backed by our authorised installer status. Duration depends on the product tier.
Paint correction removes defects within the clear coat — swirl marks, light scratches, water spot etching. Scratches through the base coat won't come out with polishing.
PPF is a physical film that absorbs stone chips and impact. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer that adds UV protection, chemical resistance and hydrophobics. Many of our customers run both.
Quality PPF typically lasts 8–12 years before it needs replacing, with self-healing properties active for the film's whole lifespan.
