Headlight Restoration

Cloudy headlights reduce visibility and make your vehicle look tired.

Our restoration process removes oxidation and hazing through multi-stage sanding and polishing, then applies a UV-resistant coating to slow future degradation.

    Our process

    1

    Assessment

Evaluate headlight condition and damage level.

    2

    Preparation

Mask surrounding areas and clean surface.

    3

    Sanding

Progressive wet sanding to remove oxidation.

    4

    Polishing

    Multi-stage polishing for clarity.

    5

    Protection

    UV-resistant coating for longevity.

    Longevity expectations

Results typically last 1-3 years depending on parking conditions and UV exposure. Vehicles parked outdoors will degrade faster than garaged vehicles.

Severely degraded or cracked lenses may not restore fully and replacement may be more appropriate.

    UV protection explained

Original headlight lenses have a factory UV coating that degrades over time. Our restoration process removes this damaged layer and applies a new UV-resistant coating to slow future yellowing.

    Restoration vs replacement

Restoration is suitable for surface oxidation and hazing. If lenses are cracked, delaminating internally, or have moisture inside, replacement is the better option. We can advise during inspection.
