Unlike budget aerosol alternatives, Aegis provides even, complete coverage rather than a superficial coating on top. It creates a long-lasting barrier against moisture, salt and road debris across the full underbody surface, chassis rails, crossmembers, floor pan, structural seams, and wheel arch undersides. Most customers pair it with ceramic coating on the paintwork above — one protects what you can't see, the other protects what you can.
It's a job most people only think about after the fact — once surface rust has already taken hold, it's much harder and more expensive to deal with than preventing it in the first place. Newer vehicles benefit most, since the barrier goes on before road salt and moisture have had years to work into seams and joins.
