One of the most track-focused road-legal cars McLaren builds: exposed carbon, minimal paint, and a cabin stripped back for weight that still needs the same level of care as the bodywork.

The Senna
Matte and gloss carbon, exposed underbody aero, and precious little painted surface to work with. It came through for a full interior and exterior detail: a pH-neutral pre-wash and chemical decontamination to lift brake dust and track grime off the paint and exposed carbon without risking the matte finish, followed by a careful hand wash and dry. Matte carbon can't be machine buffed or waxed like gloss paint, so every pass was done by hand with matte-safe products. Inside, the stripped-back cabin (exposed carbon tub, harness mounts, minimal trim) was detailed back down given how sparse and exposed it is, with every panel and vent gone over rather than around.
